Six Pack - toned muscle in abdomen. The one word that makes many boys to join and work in gym. Couple of years before except body builders, no one knows about six pack.After some of the Bollywood actors turn themselves as muscular body builders with six -pack, people start to think about six pack.
The concept of six pack is Strengthen your abdominal core muscles and lose your body fat. Queit a simple concept, but putting it into action can be quite challenging.It will take dedication, time and patience. Here are some basic work outs to achieve it.
Most important thing to get six pack is to loose your body fat.These below workouts will reduce your belly fat,help you to build your muscle.This will be useful for begineers to do at home.
Crunches :
First excercise to begin with is crunches, it will rip your upper abs and middle abs.
A crunch begins with lying face up on the floor with knees bent. The movement begins by curling the shoulders towards the pelvis.The hands can be behind or beside the neck.
Bicycle Crunches:
The most effective ab exercises, which is the best move for targeting the rectus abdominis (i.e., the 'six pack') and the obliques (the waist)
- Lie face up on your mat and place your hands behind your head, lightly supporting it with your fingers.
- Bring the knees in to the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the floor without pulling on the neck.
- Rotate to the left, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee as you straighten the other leg.
- Switch sides, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee.
Long Arm crunches:
You need a partner to help you in this excercise. This is also one the effective ab excercise,changing the traditional floor crunch by straightening the arms behind you.Extended arms adds a bit difficulty.
- Lie on a mat and extend the arms straight out behind the head with hands clasped, keeping the arms next to the ears.
- Ask your partner to stand on your toes, his hands should be stretched straight.
- Your partner's palm should be right above your torso.
- Lift your shoulder blades off the floor and touch your partner's hand.
- Contract your abdomen.
Reverse Crunches :
This exercise is for the lower abs
- Lie on the floor and place hands on the floor or behind the head.
- Bring the knees in towards the chest until they're bent to 90 degrees, with feet together or crossed.
- Contract the abs to curl the hips off the floor, reaching the legs up towards the ceiling.
- It's a very small movement, so try to use your abs to lift your hips rather than swinging your legs and creating momentum.
